In 2016, the raunchy animated comedy Sausage Party was theatrically released and has become a commercial and critical hit across the world. The film, produced by Seth Rogen and featuring an ensemble cast is centered around the idea of food being sentient. To promote the movie Seth Rogen along with a film crew conducted a prank in which unsuspecting customers at a New York supermarket attempt to pick up groceries, only to be scared by food items placed throughout the store. This particular Cantaloupe puppet has a plastic tube attached inside and exits out the back of it. This allowed the crew to make the Cantaloupe to appear as if it’s “Spitting”.
