From the 1993 Tim Burton stop motion classic, The Nightmare Before Christmas, this is a Jack Skellington pre-production used paint test head. Puppet fabricators of the crew would test paint certain piece to make sure the look and design being used was correct and to have as reference. Jack Skellington, king of Halloween Town, discovers Christmas Town, but his attempts to bring Christmas to his home causes confusion. The bottom side has an opening that could be put on a stand for holding it and appears to be the final look approved for Jack’s on screen appearance.
